Canadian Army Flannel Shirt

Canadian Army Flannel Shirt

Country of Origin: Canada

Flannel. The Canadian Army. Put the two together, and you get the look of the lumberjack commando!

This 80% wool-20% nylon flannel two pocket shirt was first conceived of shortly after the Korean War as a means to give soldiers a layer of insulation that still remained flexible. It was based off a similar US pattern wool shirt, and both would be issued in various forms from the Korean War, well into the 1980s.

Whether you want to own a piece of history, or hack down a particularly big tree in enemy territory, you can't go wrong with this great piece of winter kit!
