In-house t-shirts produced and printed by us with local partners in Grayson County, Texas! The "Rhodesian Foreign Legion", a fictional unit represented in various tongue-in-cheek t-shirts produced in Rhodesia for foreign volunteers.
It was originally worn as a mockery of the disingenuous portrayals of the Rhodesian foreign volunteer as a "mercenary" by the Western media of the 1970s. Drawing standard wages in an unrecognized currency, and facing the strict British-styled discipline of the Rhodesian Army, it was a far cry from the perceived life of a swash-buckling soldier of fortune. Hence, the irreverent, legend of the infamous but non-existent Rhodesian Foreign Legion, who fought for "xenophobia" - at least from uninformed Western perspectives!
