First introduced in the 1960s during the Vietnam War, the remarkably lightweight canteen has seen "action" in all corners of the globe. Constructed from durable plastic, it features a 1 litre/quart capacity and is shaped to fit all USGI issued canteen pouches, from the M-1956 pattern pouches onwards.
