One heck of a find for us!
These comforter scarves were used alongside the heavier duty tubular wool scarves by American GIs through the Second World War, and Korea. Constructed from a lighter (and stretchier) wool-flannel weave, they were a lightweight addition to keep necks cozy in the worst combat conditions of the 20th century.
These amazingly comfortable scarves are remanufactured from original surplused wartime fabrics, making them brand spankin' new in terms of their stitching but with the musky flare of milsurp! Built to last and look the part, they're perfect as a basic short scarf for outdoorsmen, reenactors, or as US WW2 Olive Drab #7 fabric for reworking!
