"Remember the Alamo!"

We are proud to call Texas home. As a result, we figure we'd offer our first proper "Texas" product in-store.

The incredible art behind this sticker is courtesy of the very talented Delta Magna (@delta.magna). We were heavily inspired by the 1830 Delacroix painting "Liberty Leading the People", depicting "Marianne" or Goddess of Liberty leading French revolutionaries during the July revolt of 1830. It served as an excellent contemporary painting depicting the concept of liberty in the form of a woman, barechested, with a Phrygian cap and carrying the colors of her nation. The painting was chose as our inspiration with this special commission given that it was an extremely close contemporary to the Texas Revolution from 1835-36.

Featuring a Brown Bess musket, the Gonzales "Come and Take It Flag", and the iconic Bowie Knife, we think that the heroes of the Goliad, the Alamo, and San Jacinto would be proud to have seen this Texas version of Lady Liberty.

Art commissioned from Delta Magna for Texas Independence Day on 2 March 2023. Measures 3" in height with an adhesive backing.
