Description
Reproduction Rhodesian Army brigade cloth badges, as worn by members of the Rhodesian Security Forces serving in the 1st Brigade.
The Rhodesian Army's 1st Brigade was organized in 1964 to better mobilize and organize regular army troops, and based it's headquarters out of the the city of Bulawayo. It was tasked for handling units operating in Matabeleland, and sported a distinctive elephant crest, superimposed onto a red shield.
The cloth badge would have been worn by soldiers attached the headquarters or other higher level commands with the brigade.
