Move faster, go further, and fight more effectively with the Lightfighter Rig from NIXIEWORKS. The Lightfighter Rig is a 2nd & 3rd line load bearing harness designed to carry everything you need for dismounted patrolling operations lasting 1-3 days. Consisting of a lumbar pack with integrated MOLLE battle belt and a unique six-point suspender harness, the Lightfighter Rig is lightweight and comfortable enough to carry both your combat load, and your bivouac/sustainment gear. Many light infantry doctrines subscribe to the concept of a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line. The operator wears his 1st line essentials at all times. On top of that, he wears a rig containing his fighting load (2nd line). Finally, he carries sleep and sustainment gear in a rucksack (3rd line). But the 3rd line rucksack is heavy and bulky, and it is often tried and true doctrine to ditch this rucksack (and its contents) before/during a fight. But we asked: what if your 3rd line was lightweight enough, well integrated enough, that there was no need to ditch it?This is the core concept behind our Lightfighter Rig. By replacing the rucksack with a lumbar pack integrated into the 2nd line, and pairing it with a six-point suspender harness for a comfortable ride, our rig allows the user to carry his 3rd line equipment without the mobility sacrifice of carrying a rucksack.
Sizing Guide:
Essentially, different sizes of LFR have different lengths of padded belt wings, with correspondingly different amounts of PALS webbing on them. This is to allow the user the maximum amount of PALS real estate based on their waist size. The sizes are in three inch increments, because two channels of PALS webbing (one per belt wing) are three inches wide. The breakdown of waist sizes and number of PALS channels is as follows:
