"Diefendi la pasta fabbrica!"

The Italian Deserto Mimetico pattern was implemented in 1991 as a desert variation of the Roma 90 woodland pattern. Designed specifically for troops deploying to the United Nations mission in Somalia, the pattern became synonymous with the Italian Army's involvement in the legendary 1993 Battle for Checkpoint Pasta a few months before the events of "Black Hawk Down" in Mogadishu.

These pants have a bunch of unique construction features that are seldom emulated by other countries, for a uniquely aesthetic design. These include:
  • Polycotton slim fit construction (highly recommended you purchase a size up from the listed)
  • Standard belt loops
  • Two hybrid zippered/velcro cargo pockets
  • Two large rear velcro pockets
  • Zippered fly
  • Elasticated leg cuff
These pants must be worn once you find the right pasta worth defending, even if it's in Somalia.

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). We ship internationally.

Note:  This item is not considered military surplus as per our return policy as it was never issued, however it is still an authentic piece of military equipment.
