OY VEY! Outstanding surplus webbing, direct from the quartermasters of the Israeli Defence Forces! As one of the few remaining nations in the world with universal mandatory conscription, Israeli has always had some great, functional, one size fit all kit for all your operating needs.
These 1980s era Recon webbings would have been first utilized during the 1982 Lebanon War, a truly space age piece of kit for the era. It features four double 5.56 velcro magazine pockets, and a simple 8 by 10 inch velcro closure backpack attached to the yoke. These vests were compact, but allowed the operator to pack a great deal of firepower and what he would have needed in the field for 24 hours. This made it ideal for armoured crewmen, reconnaissance troops, and even some Israeli special forces units.
It's a far cry from the heavy canvas, finicky buckles, and confusing straps of old! For milsurp, they are in great condition, the velcro is nearly mint, and the olive drab still olive, and drabby.
