Country of Origin: Brazil
IMBEL manufacture FC-IA2 designation rifle bayonets, as issued to the Brazilian Army. Intended to fit on the the 7.62mm calbire FC-AMZ rifles, these bayonets were first developed in 2008 by IMBEL (Industria de Material Belico do Brasil), the leading Brazilian arms manufacturer. to be utilize as both a conventional bayonet and large survival knife. Due to the relatively large "big chungus" weight and size the bayonet, trying to use this bayonet as a convention pig-sticker with a heavier 7.62 battle rifle is less than ideal. However, the construction and design make for an excellent survival knife. The bayonets are damn near impossible to source outside of Brazil given their status as the current issue bayonet of the Brazilian Army and various export restrictions.
Sold in completely new condition, these bayonets feature a plastic hard case, sheathe, cordage, and the bayonet itself.
