Country of Origin: Austria
Excellent Austrian Army pattern bags based off the Mech-Modul manufactured REDO backpack. Designated officially as the Kampfrucksack 2003 (KAZ03), it was designed to sustain a mechanized soldier for up to 24 hours with a variable volume of 25 to 40 liters. Engineered after years of operational feedback, it represented one of the first "modern" 24 hour backs upon it's adoption in the early 2000s. Representing one of the earliest GWOT-era NATO backpacks with Cordura construction, modularity and excellent lumbar support, the bag still holds up as a very utilitarian and modern piece of kit even after many years of service.
Heck, they even engineered the back reinforcement bit as a field seating pad - no more bare arses on wet grass! Whether you're on a romp, or just going out for a stroll, this piece of kit serves as an must-have day pack!
